  • Need a bit of Advice with CopterX build

I have Copterx kit with all cnc bit etc but not sure which parts to use i would like to keep cost down as its just going to get crashed away so can not see point of putting the best stuff on it.
I can get the dragonsky gyro 401 b for £12 seems good deal as for servos there are so many dont if to buy sg90 cheap and cheerfull just buy lots for spare or go for metal gear tower pro or something.
I supose cheap servo break easy when you hit the deck?

As for tail servo dont know what options are here.Help
Good budjet ESC if there is such?Help
    I take it I need 40amp esc. ( I have align 430xl motor and a few lipos)
I am trying to keep cost down as I have Raptor 30 which I use at the field and would like to push myself at bit and be Brave with the copterx.
Thinking the bits are cheaper to replace.
I am just looking for the best deals.
    Thanks

Any servo will do for flying a round if you know you are going to be crashing a lot when trying out new moves but I would not go short on the gyro last thing thing you want is a cheap one and have the tail all over the place and not holding with doing backward flights etc

For tail servos you might have a look at the Acerlab D12MG. The specs are very similar to the Align 520 and it is quite inexpensive. (I got mine from AVA hobbies)

I just put one on my GL450 using an Align HH gyro and it works pretty well so far. I still get a little wag now and then but I think that's the gyro.

I have a CopterX 450 trainer that I built on a complete budget. I used the cheapest blue 9g servos I could get on the cyclic and tail and a Mystery 401B. Mystery ESC and motor. It actually is very nice and stable to fly, the tail holds fine for my current level of flying. I have a GY520 on order for future use when I get better and more confident.

I had one crash where it went sideways. It broke all 3 servo's on the cyclic, bent main and tail shaft, broken main and tail blades, bent tail boom and skid.

My theory is that I want the cheap stuff to break so it's cheap to fix and I am more willing to try new things with potentially cheaper crashes. At $2.99/servo it's not exactly expensive.
