now uve got me started. every year i make my mrs do a list for what she wants and i tell her what i like and i go all out to get her everything on the list and i also add my own additions. but then on christmas day i think why did i do it. once i open up my gifts out comes the fake smile and the thought goes through my head hmmmmmmm i dont remember putting socks or shavers or even aftershave on my list. there she is all happy that she's got everything she wanted and theres me LOL well gutted not one thing on my list or nothing to do with my hobby at all not even a heliworld magazine. i never put a heli or would never expect to get one but even the smallest of things would be nice. last year there was a really big box and she kept on going on about im gonna love it and as the weeks went on i thought blimey this is onna be a good christmas then on the day i couldn't wait to open it and then finially she passed it dragged it over and then i opened it omg if you could see the false excitment lol i cant beleive they dont see the disapointment anyway i wont say what it was.
i sound like a right ungratefull git but when you try so hard for them then why cant they do it for us. also we have no kids just me.

A couple of sets of 600 carbon blades, And my son is going to get me these.
The thing is it's going to cost me a lot more for me to buy them all pressies. LOL

I do kinda empathise with you tho. My wife, who would admit freely to not being too IT savvy, hates online shopping. As was the case for my birthday list, many items contained links to Fast Lad. However, she doesn't like online shopping and, whilst she has a car, she hates driving.

As such, if I'm desperate for heli gear I end up buying it myself, only to hear the "But you've got no surprises!" moan.
