Had a cracking week..Stuart Savage, Stu on here kindly arranged a light aircraft run from Prestwick down to Castle Kennedy for our site visit for the upcoming 3D Scotland event cutting it down to a managable 340ml round trip for me.
Stu's Limo was very impressive too I might add..
The forcast was against doing anything out of the norm Saturday onwards.
BUT yesterday we got a weather break and a quick phone call to Ianthebrave had us dashing x country to Achilitibue to climb Stac Pollidh' (Polly). What a stunning hill to walk The ridge must be one of the top 3 in the country the pinnacles and buttresses are awesome and defy gravity. Highly recommended.
Suffering today as we didn't have a guide book to get us to the top and ascended 4 Scree slopes before getting lucky with No 5..we arrived back at the carpark in half light..I'll see if I can upload a few pics in a mo. Need I say more I'm the one with the Grey hair..LOL
