  • Converting neon blaze

    As I posted earlier I am thinking of converting my neon blaze heli to use a Spektrum DX6i transmitter and receiver.Having looked on the web I have seen a conversion for a Honeybee helicopter and was wondering do you think that if I fitted a honeybee 4 in 1 unit(you remove the receiver part and only use the mixer unit and esc's)would the inbuilt esc's be powerful enough to run the motors on the Neon Blaze?

    The only way that I can think of doing this is to get a seperate receiver I.E; Ar6100E and a seperate gyro and then a 2 in 1 control unit to operate the main and tail rotors.See here;

    I had a look into doing this with my micro CP heli but it would cost silly money when you could just buy something like the Blade CP pro II for cheaper which you could bind to your DX6i, or better still a proper 450 heli.Seems like too much faffing for me to be honest.
    Cheers Grant.
