Thanks for that. I have HS65MG on there at the moment, it does ok But I need a fourth servo as I am putting the above 65 plus two others on the cyclic and was looking for something digital to go on the tail.

The DS420 not the best then ds520 looks good what about this one HS 5065MG.

      Cheers

My 450 sport came with the 420 tail servo, and have to say that the hold is pretty good. Copes fine with whatever I throw at it...Tail slides, backwards knife edge circuits, funnels, tic tocs etc, and holds well through all these.

If the wind picks up, can start to wag going sideways on into it, but still holds very well, and still doesn't let go. Pretty good for the money.

DS 420 is more suited for Trex 250 and DS520 is for 400 size heli. For peace of mind, it is worth paying extra for DS520 IMHO.

If you're not looking at the money side of things.. agree to get the ds520. Found the hold to equal the 9257.. which I think is double the price. Can't remember the servo bracket on the blade will take a bigger servo(Been some time since I had the blade) so you may need another bracket.

The DS420 I feel is still a good comprimise in cost and performance. I've had it on the 450 sport from day 1, and was planning to swap it over with a 9257, but found the hold so good on it, I didn't bother...also keeps the weight down on the heli.

Check out some of the 450 sport vids on Youtube where they are using the standard ds420 servo.. and tell me that they don't hold..

hitec hs5084 (around £28.00) to fit it to the blade i used two metal upgrade tail servo brackets and the link rod from a twister storm. works perfect with the stock gyro

THe DS420 is gonna be waaay better than your HS65MG. I run the DS520 and don't mind the extra weight as it helps the CG! Either will do!
