  • Anyone bought from Hobbyshire - super cheap HK seller ??

    UPDATED:
I ordered the 250SE from Hobbyshire on Saturday 14th November, delivery by speedpost, this was delivered Thursday 19th November - 250SE super combo kit, in shrink wrap, and everything looks perfect. I've run up ESC/servos/gyro on a servo tester and everything works perfectly, so I am delighted !!

If anyone is thinking of giving hobbyshire a go, I would say go for it !

    ORIGINAL POST
Just saw this posted on helifreak, someone asking same question - no responses yet.

Hobbyshire have the Trex 250SE Super Combo for £183 + £15 postage (best UK price is about £275+postage, flying hobby in HK, which I've used before and are normally cheapest price is £230+post with 2 lipos).

This seems crazy cheap to me - anyone used this seller - looks like they are pretty new, may only have setup end september ?? I've googled and cannot find much about them, no problems or recommendations anywhere which seems very strange.

If someone can recommend them, I'd probably hit the button on a punt !

I fly planks and 450pro at polo field in Taunton (Websters flyers club - electric only mainly planks), and fly Trex250 pretty much anywhere - but I was thinking I should try to find a local active heli field to come and see others fly and spur me on to learn new stuff, as I feel my flying keeps plateuing (??) - I think if I was flying with others it would egg me on to be braver (probably with hilarious consequences - but you can't make an omelette).

Is westonzoyland a club or just turn up and fly?
