Anyone fly near to Bromley in Kent ??. Looking to join a friendly heli club. Be nice if I could fly my planes as well, but happy to find somewhere else to do that.

Missed this and just happened to do a search for Bromley.
Sometimes a few members from Bromley and the surrounding meet up at a park - not what you would call a club though.
So your not from Telford in Shropshire then..?

Hmmm.. Strangely I missed this too..
I don't fly much near Bromley, but do live near it.
There's no 'clubs' nearby, but you can fly electrics in Norman Park. Gonna have to travel a bit for nitro flight though.
Have you recently moved down this way? Or is there another Telford we don't know about!?

Moving down next year, but spending a few weekends down in Kent already, so thought it might be worth having a look around for a friendly club. Didn't expect to find one on my doorstep, but wanted to keep my travelling down to around 30 minutes if possible.
Found the Eynsford club, just wondered if there were anymore. An indoor venue would be good as well if anyone has any ideas ??.

Where abouts in Bromley will you be moving to?
KENT KOPTERS-Flash - Good for the summer as its got a nice big playing field. Indoors is too small for anything 400+ unless you just want to hover.
There is an indoor club at the White Oak Leisure centre in Swanley but again, it is limited by size.
I might make some enquires about a church hall but at £30 an hour it is out of reach.
BTW - www.avicraft.co.uk is the local shop in case you have not visited it yet - very helpful bunch
