    Hi,

Where should I mount the carb mount sensor on a 91hz? Its alot easier on the 50's to place.

    Cheers in advance

on the black head it can go between the fins on the top of the motor, on the blue head you mount it as normal. The black head is a bit of a difficult one, which was why I got the blue headed one..... bigger heatsink, easy carbsmart mounting.

The fins on the black cooling head are tapered so what you might need to do is drill a hole between the fins where you plan to mount the sensor (it's a tight fit as it is!). This hole would basically just enlarge the gap between two fins.

      Cheers,

            Rob/ Ashley,

Thanks for the answers. Do i lay the sensor horizontal between 2 fins or vertically into them like you would into the casing on a 50?

            Cheers Darryl

you have to have the tip of the sensor against the engine casing, so if you do lay it in you need to make sure it's in a position where the tip can sense the temperature. (it's really not easy on the black head motor).
