Very... very good engine

So much smoother and more powerful than the 50 hyper but just as easy to tune. Dare i say it..... less thirsty too!

Mine has had a couple of gallons and is getting better and better.

And no, I'm not on commision (wish i was!) but will stick my neck out for this the engine of the year IMO.

I'm not qualified in my opinion but i'm happy to put my hand up and predict that by this time next year most 50's bought by paying folk will have one of these snuggled up between the frames?

Still undecided on one of these or a ys56 for the n5 when it comes. There has been a lot of praise for this engine, and lots of videos, but nothing really on the ys so far. Still, wouldn't mind having a play with one at some point

Seems the 55 is definately easier to tune if nothing else Martin!

i'm sure with perseverence the Nova works well in some hands but too much grief for my liking.

I like the fact that the OS 55 is just the same to live with as the old 50 hyper but lots and lots better.

Eager for someone to test the OS pipe before i take the plunge there
