  • What the?

Evening all. After work I was about to fly my blade 400 but I noticed a odd sound when I was testing out the servos. On the tale I noticed it looked as if a bearing had come apart and it was in two or three small pieces (It kind of looked a little like shims). Do you guys know if they can just shatter? I have added a picture but unfortunately my camera does not like close-up shots at all.

Its probably worn out and collapsed.

Cheap bearings can do this after some time, especially when used in an application like that where they are taking some paralel load which isnt what they are designed for.
They can also be damaged during a crash.

Well done noticing this during your pre flight checks as this sort of thing can easily cause a crash.

Don't risk it - just repalce it IMO. Parts are cheap otherwise you might end up with a bigger bill. Did you lubricate all bearings?

      Hope this help
