Hi guys,
sorry for not responding sooner but kids have been in mental mode this Xmas lol! (I wonder why lol!)

As Wayne has mentioned, the Airwolf fuse wont be a problem so whenever your ready, just give either of us a shout.

Have you got a ballpark figure for the paint job...Like i said its a Funkey 50 size one..

What about preparation,etc...

Hi we will prep and etch prime the fuz then paint and clearcoat it.Aslong as all the fuz is all cut out and all formers are fitted.We just need all the glass parts ready to prep up your looking at £100 plus p/p back to you.The colour scheme of the real one is phantom gray and white.But we can do the black and white if needed.All the best from wayne.

The turnaround for it would be around 2-3 weeks from us getting it and you getting it back as we will not rush a job, as our reputation is on the line with every job we do, so we wont rush it, as its not in our interest and obviously, you want a top notch job.

Prepping the fibreglass priming/filling/repriming etc will take a couple of days
the main painting will then also take a couple of days to allow the coats to cure properly inbetween coats and colours etc
and the clear coating (Laquer) also takes a good couple of days as the first coat gets sanded back to give a good base for the other 2 top coats and then its buffed up to that lovely shiny finish (drool lol)

Also inbetween those steps will be curing times etc, as you cant really put too many coats on in too soon a go as then you end up with runs and thats definately NOT good lol!

Ok, wow, that was a bit of a quest trying to get on these forums, but here I am, Mark, Wayne.

Everyone else, I'm Leon, the friend that Mark and Wayne have been refering to, glad to be here.

So far, I havnt flown the heli with the new canopy on, it has had a test flight back while you two where making it, I cant thank you enough for that, its absolutly amazing work.

We have just got a new camera, and we're still learning how to use it, so everyone else, who hasnt seen their work in person, if what you see in the pics below looks good to you, then its because well it is, if it looks bad, its because I havn't figured out this camera yet

There is a bit of pixelation in the pictures, since its been saved as a .jpg, the originals where a lot clearer.

I have a synergy N9 (my competition model) that im looking to get a smart paint job on I have the canopy and postage a packaging shouldnt be an issue I travel up to GY quit often

The red on the canopy isnt red, its actually orange, but like Wayne said, not the greatest pics (prob been sniffing the thinnners again lol)

The pic makes it look dark.if the pic was taken in better light you would see the deep gloss look.Will cut the clearcoat back and reclearcoat this will give the canopy a realy deep gloss.

Hi guys!!

sorry for not been around much since new year, but works been crap and its been doing my head in in huge amounts
Im in the process of changing careers so will be back upto form dam soon! so will be dedicating more time to getting the heli painting rolling again.
