whats happened about claiming back bank charges?after i had claimed for mine last i was told they couldnt do anything until a hearing of some kind! can you still claim and is it worth it?

There's a class-action test case working it's way through the court system. Expect a result any time in the next decade.

It depends what company ypu have asked to help you get the money back as they can have the power to push the banks before the court hearings have finished under hardship.

Also its been said that once this has finished and if they dont win then can request to do the trial again so that means another 2 years for wait.

So see if you can get it pused forward under the grounds of hardship

Lots of people claimed back lots of cash but then the banks went to court and everything got put on hold. The best place for info on this is www.moneysavingexpert.com where Martin Lewis is championing the cause of the consumer.

At the moment, from 2007, bank charges refunds are on hold.

If you are in finacial hardship you can put a case together and might be able to get them back, before they end all this court stuff.

The case is in court as we speak... There were some updates published September.
