Just wanted to say congrates to Hazel as today she did really well on her raptor30 and got in some proper hovering, well done, i counted at least 30 seconds at one point, one hell of an improvement.
Also a thanks for letting Harry have a go, he really enjoyed it.
I think Ron(boggy) got some pics of Hazel and Harry flying, hopefully he will post later.
Had a great day today, bar the last flight in the rain was a bit off putting but bar that had great fun thrashing the 700 and velocity, even gave the 550 a real good spanking.
Only whoops was Ashley getting maybe a bit to over confident and pushing it a bit to far and having a minor ding on the beam, but all fixed now so no real harm done.

I flew my trex 450 today, was a bit breezy tho really, so lots of corrections in the hover really!
Got the Knight going too but it ill isn't set up right and span out to the left rapido, so need to do some more work on it yet!

Sounds like your gyro is reversed mate, need to change it on the gyro

Maybe, or it may be that I've set up the tail with 8deg of left turn instead of right!!! (like a muppet!!)
I looked at the servo mount and its as far forward as it will go, so need to look at the linkage I think?

On a head holding gyro it would still hold not spin

I had a good day untill I crashed
It went in pretty hard but the damage wasnt too bad. Im happy with the 450 pro's frame strength and I didnt break the TT gears (I did break the boom and TT)

I will buy the bits from Midland tomorrow and be flying again in the afternoon (as long as they have everything in stock)

I have been very lucky today!

* First inverted hover without soiling myself.
* First intentional translational inverted flight.
* First rainbowesqe thing (don't seem to have sufficient power or cyclic rate for tictocs).
* First stationary flip to inverted (normally I do a half loop).
* First half roll followed by half loop.
* Heli still in one piece.

Can't ask for more than that!
