Well like they say, these kids learn fast, my lad Ashley is really getting keen again on this flying stuff and pulled out the hat last week some side ways tick tocks, and then last night some nose down tick tocks, so all i wanted to say was well done that lad

Ashley is coming on very well. James is in a position now where he can let him walk up and fly alone and let him get on with it, this has really helped Ash balance up his own risks and decisions on moves and as such he now dictates his own routine.

I think he now wants to prove he can do it on his own and bring the heli back safe as well as pulling off new stuff... a good lesson in self control

if Ashley remains keen and disciplined he will be a seriously good pilot... at comp level, well before he's old enough to drive a car!

The most important thing is that he has fun

He was definately having fun last night with his NSP and Beam

Cheers guys, he has only just turned 11 so very proud of him, he wants to do it all himself, i do let him go to the flight line on his own with the beam but still go with him with the 600 just in case.

From my Rc car days the kids that kept up with the hobby as they got older were always the ones who did there own maintainance.
When you get a bit older you probably wont want to be hanging around with your dad, so try and get him involved in the spanner work as much as possible
