  • weather yuk, what to do?

Well since today the weather was rubbish it gave me chance to do some repairs and maintaining.
First spent an hour on phoenix.
Second changed out the ds610 cases on my aurora.
Third replaced my lads 450 frame that was being held together with ca glue and also fitted his MG servos that i got off jamiem about 4 months ago at last.
So though no flying as such, got alot of things sorted plus made sure everything is charged and ready for tomorrow if the weather is good
Hope everyone else had a productive day

Yep - just spent an hour or so changing my tail servo, checking the gyro set-up, mid stick tail rotor blade pitch adjustment etc. Now I've pulled out all the batteries that need a charge (500 main, 600 Rx/servo, DX7 and flight box Pb) and have got them on the go in readiness for a hopefully better day Wx-wise tomorrow.

Pulled helis apart for a clean and finished of my transporting table (in another thread). Going to get some time in on Phoenix tonight if I can, may host a session in a bit.

It was very windy but i still went out to fly my 450. It was only because it wanted to vibrate itself to death that i didn't actually fly. I then hovered the Logo but the tail feels unresponsive on right rudder so i didn't fly that either.

Went slope soaring, 40MPH winds broke the glider again, so heli time tomorrow pending wind
