The light was bad and we had drizzle and a stiff breeze off our backs but Stu shrug it off and nailed it.... again.

Just the fact that I mention Stu in the same breath as Duncan Osbourn shows who my two favourite pilots are. Just a small point Stu, don't become just another stick banger it doesn't do your skill justice mate. Where is that beautiful well timed technical flying that you are so capable of. Bring on the masters mate.

Trust me, Stu is no careless stick banger, his precision is awesome and his flying is very different than it was 6 months ago IMO. Stu has an edgy style that puts stops and checks into moves which looks wicked and is different from the norm, he mixes this up with super smooth big air moves and simply makes his helis dance.

I think he is finding a unique style which will serve him well

100% agree mate, Stu has his own style thats for sure, and having the pleasure to fly with the smiths so often, inspires me and others, and is great to pick up little tip bits

Fantastic to see the rapid progress since 3dChamps 08 that Stu has made. His flying is off the hook these days. Nice to see another thumber taking it to the Pinchers too

Didn't say he was a careless stick banger just that the flying style is going that way. As I said in my original post he is my 2nd favourite pilot Duncan being the first. He is way better than the champs last year and the fact both him and Adie have been picked up by the up and coming ElyQ team prove that. Unique style, I'll take that, not stick banger Stu, unique.
