Superb Afternoon

After missing out on flying at the weekend due to
attending the 3d Champs.
I decided today was going to be a flying day.
Rob o & my mate Mark Budd were called & 3 oclock was
agreed as the time to meet at the site.
It was also the 1st day I've realy been able to abuse the 700
due to it's recent dodgy engine tuning.
What a nice feeling it is to have almost unlimited power delivery.
Ticktocks are alot easier with it than my 600
& I'm begining to hold them steady in one place
rather than chasing the heli around the sky
I even started doing some rainbows with it after practicing
them on the sim for a few days.
I'm also getting alot more comfortable starting moves from nose in.
I think watching some of my heroes at the weekend
in battle has realy spurred me on to get out there & just do it.

A load of the guys that came with me have said the exact same thing about being inspired after seeing all the flying at the weekend crack on Martin, im sure its not outside the realms of possibility for you to be up there competing next year See you at charmouth

Me Mark and Stu smith went out charlton last night for a thrash, only managed to get an hour in but was fun, did a nice inverted auto, with nose in landing, pleased with that, and on the aurora too
Had the clunk fall off the velocity and had to put it down on the head button with a bit of a thump but luckaly just a bent boom and broken servo horn, all fixed and tested so ready for the weekend

Was not long ago you were really frustrated with progress.... watching the lads at work at the weekend does inspire confidence and was a boost to me too

Was a great afternoon mate . Just in the last month or so you're flying has come on so much , you were good before may i add but the timing of your manouvers has become so much more precise and accurate . It was good to see the confidence you now have in your machinery shining through in your flying mate . I enjoyed the fine weather , Company and parking my parkzone Sukhoi up the tree lol , glad Mark was there with the long ladders . Looking forward to next time . Rob .

I have been leaving auto's well alone james after having a few scares.
But I did get my bottle back tonight right at last light.
Managed 6 in a row, one off the patch & one nearly at my feet.
I guess I'm just loving it at the moment & have finaly got "the right fleet" lol.
Did a very untidy hurricane too, cant quite work out why it fell into
itself tho, might be not enough speed but will work on it tomorrow.

That was rather funny waving around in that tree Rob
Maybe next time we could have a go at trimming the little blighter.
