A Raptor 90SE won the Expert class at 3DM this year

Dig around a bit and you'll find plenty of videos of Alan Szabo flying a Raptor 90 and although he hasn't flown one for a while now it still looks pretty good.

if 3d is your thing then szabo wasn't too bad with a raptor 90
and if your not into 3d then its also good for a scale machine

I have flown many different helis.Aligns,Min Airs,Jr,Hirobo etc etc.

You won't go wrong with a Raptor 90. People see it as a old design which they think means inferior to newer designs which is not the case.

It is a sturdy, rigid, easy to maintain and is well designed. Bearings and parts are high quality and are cheap. Maybe not as cheap as Align but they are not much more and are better quality.

The control system is second to none. It gives a swashplate support at four points and is interaction free.No matter how good the modern eCCPM systems are they are not totally interaction free.

I think the Raptor 90 3D is the best one of the three.

With Super Stubz paddles its rocks

I believe the V max is a Quick UK conversion kit that makes it eCCPM.

Well not quite a 90 but to cut a long story short....I had a spare 60 wc and all the radio gear and I needed a heli to rap around this lot.....Midlands were (are) selling rappy 60's for 299.99.....Can't fault it......had it a week....decked it having too much fun!!!( well a good reason to ahem upgrade the blades) less than 100 quid including TT blades from FL.....The only other part that has been upgraded are the paddles.....Red ones for the pricely sum of £8.50 and red dampers..... Parts needed after crash.....boom, main shaft, spindle, flybar, torque tube....the usual things that get mullered!!! So for less than 100 quid to repair can't fault it!!!!! And it flies nice too!!!!

                              'Looks very nice.

Mine is still pretty much all stock. I got it 2nd hand from the BMFA classifieds expecting something a bit more worn and was extremely pleasantly surprised to get such a beautiful spotless heli.
