  • Innovator and Phoenix

Ok so now I've goten the Innovator but cant use it till next week
So in the meantime is there any model in Phoenix that can approximate or be modified in the settings to approximate the Innovators flying characteristics ?

At least Ill be able to get a bit of practice in.

Tiddler, at this stage mate you're as well choosing any of the models in the sim and sticking with it. The 450 sized models in the sim are quite nervous so you might be as well choosing one of the slightly larger ones (the T-Rex 500 is quite nice in the sim) and working with that. It's going to be more of a case of getting used to the collective heli 'feel' than exactly replicating how the Innovator might fly.

There is of course a luvverly Hughes 500 turbine scale model you could have a play with to get used to how it looks in the air, my personal favourites are the 'Sport' Logo 500, the 3D Trex 500 and the EC135/Apache Scale heli's...

T-REX 500 in Pheonix is a good one. Innovator is also very TT Mini Titan like (with a soft set-up) to fly (so I am told.... I have not flown a MT).
