  • 30 size blades

Guys, I'm looking for somewhere to buy reasonably cheap 550mm blades for a raptor 30 after my coming together on Saturday

Looking for carbon/glass fibre at a reasonable price if possible

    Any ideas?

    Cheers

NHP carbons - UK made so don't suffer changes in price due to the strength of the Yen, Dollar or Pound. Excellent price and very capable.

No probs - they're much better than the other blades available in that size like JPs etc and are a very sensible price. Track well, come well finished, look good and are well balanced. Some will say that NHPs don't auto very well, but to be honest, 30 size helis don't auto very well in general, specially without a driven tail, so what does it matter? They get my vote in the 30 class blades debate.

Used nhp's but changed to SABs....responsive without sacrificing stability!!!! Been using sabs for years on my 30 now.

I do like them, just the reason i crashed was, i had the canopy off to set up a governor and was buzzing about to see if there was any overspeed and lost orientation, whole heli is dark and in she went!! might like to try something with a bit of white in them this time! will keep my options open though!

All NHP blades are available in white or black.

Edit - well they used to be available in white until quite recently - can't seem to find the white ones online at the moment, but a quick call to one of the main stores should be able to sort you out.

Personally, I prefer white blades every time.

Blink helicopters do some 550 glass fibre blades for about 15 quid i think, 3d pro blades, and the carbons are less than 30 quid

Yep, I'm using the CF version of the 550mm 3D PRO blades on my Raptor 30 and they seem to fly well in my limited experience. Not too keen on the 3D logo but you can't have everything....

CF are £29.99 and GF are £14.99

both are in stock now but I would call to make sure before ordering.

link to 3D PRO blades, just look for the 550mm length
