  • Flying my Blade

Well I took my repaired Blade up to my local field this morning as the weather seemed good I thought I would see if the rebuild needed any adjusting, I did tail in hovering as normal but also did my first right and left side hovering and my first nose in hovering.

I even landed nose in for the first time as well

Ok I took the Blade to work with me as things are quiet on Mondays, Wind was up a little but did some tail in hovering and then some left and right hovering again. I did try some nose in hovering but the the heli was moving around to much in the breeze.

I use phoenix to practice on with the Blade and raptor 50, on the sim I can do everything pretty ok it's just doing the same with the real heli that I need get past, I think it's all in the mind?

Well done, Mike! I think you are right, it's a lot easier on the sim, cos if you **** it up, you get a new heli in a couple of secs. On the field, tho, there's always that worry about decking it.
