Yeah wicked day!!!... always great company and we have a really good group of lads (and a lass) at our field now

Everyone flying was top notch and really good to see james boys coming on very well... The Nitro action from both was especially impressive

The Smiths are just insane.... nuff said

James is really on form and flying new moves nearly every flight!

A great day spent with nice people doing what i love to do best... can't ask for more than that (apart from a clearer less hung over head!! LOL)

    happy days

Yes mate, and as you well know i am on the other side of the fence, loving my 700 at the moment, though the aurora is going well also, just feel more relaxed with the 700 and tend to let myself go a bit more with it, though to be fair the first flight with the aurora was superb, just had an iffy second flight, with a couple of coughs from the engine, hopefully that was just a one off

Cheers dude, was a great day.
I was really pleased with the boys today and just wanted to say a big thanks for letting Harry have a go on the raptor, he loved it.
As for the Smiths, well what can be said, unreal
It was one of those new moves day for me, did about 3 new things and all worked ok, cleaning up and bigger balls required to make them great

yeah the YS is a tricky beast

the 700 is definitely the more relaxing of the two, but the straightness of the Aurora is just amazing. today was the first time I have been able to give it a bit of stick (as much as I'm capable of neway lol )

my 700 is buggered at the moment though so i'm sure I will love it too after a little TLC

I've always found it much easier to get on with YS 91's. When running in from new, they seem to make just as much power as when they are fully run-in, just that you can lean them out to use less fuel. Tune using the mid-range needle, then once its sounding nice and making good power generally, tweak the top end to get the temp to where your happy. Seems to work for me, although I do really need to stick a new ring and liner in my SR as after 25+ gallons through it its lost its edge when comparing it to a brand new one.

My SR has been good up to today and on its second flight just seemed to be a bit iffy, sounded like it had an odd lean run, will change the filter to be sure
