I have completely caught the bug since seeing it for the first time at NN.. Been researching all the night gear available. Jason Platts had that XeroGear LED style tape which is brilliant, you can run it on different voltages to get different brightness.. There is stuff on ebay, which is cheaper than the align stuff, but i don't know how good it is..

Blades wise i was thinking of the aligns.. However, don't know if torsion make 325 night blades??

Tim, any reason you chose the torsion blades over the Aligns? At the field the other night it seemed most of the Align night blades did not track well (maybe it's a coincidence but i'm not sure)..

Torsions are much better Mo... much brighter. Although i think id prefer the flight characteristics of the Aligns. I went with the Torsions though for pure showoffability (haha now that aint a word in the dictionary )

Ok guy's here we have it.

After speaking with my agent (Mr robgt) I am having a nightfly only session on Saturday 31st Oct for the usual suspects who fancy coming along deep into the cold night air with your lit/half lit helis to make a fool of yourselves.

Anyone behaving in a sensible manner will be escorted from the field and told to go home.

Stupidity is the order of the night so Mike W your in to start with....

I have a still camera and a video camera so get your winter coats ready and lets do it.

                      Night Flying

Well i must say i also have well and truely got the night flying bug under my skin. Tried it last year with my Rappy 50 - awesome, align blades and them cheap el-wire and inverter for £0.01 on ebay(£9.99 p&p and one of the inverters caused 2 of the light strings to 'flicker' when the engine was running lol)
Got the 600nsp ready this year with the align inverters, plus 450sev2 and Wildwing! Bring it on
                      Thanks, Chris
