I got a raptor 50 from someone Ade knows.

I've been itching to get it going for a while now, but things have just got in the way.

will try to get a pic or two up here if possible..

            Your going to love it.

It shouldn't need anything touching if Ades been near it for setting up thats for sure.

Enjoy it and hope you have a good day

                  Done it !!!!

Well, I drove down to Eastbourne to meet up with my mate from work...

... got to his club field - was very warmly welcomed - and he got to work..

checked over the heli, made some tweaks and adjustments to the mechanical set up and the radio set up, flew it to check it out (he's very very good) and fitted training legs.

                  My go....

... got it hovering right away, not too steady, but did it first time. The sim has really paid off I feel.

moved the heli around the square a little. lifted it to about chest height, and then moved it from 45 degrees one way, hovered a little , then 45 degrees the other - hovered a little, then landed it on a chosen "spot" on the ground. did that a few times ( about 2/3 a tank of fuel)

Really very different from the sim near ground level, the lift from the heli really changes with wind speed and direction of travel of the heli, one thing the sim doesn't do - i'll look for the "realism" settings in a mo...

But, suffice to say - I'm well chuffed - YAHHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

                    Nice one

Been up Mill Hill in Shoreham today with the electric planks, virtually had the hill to ourselves as forecast said wind was off but it was on a lot of the time so got a couple of quick glider flights.

Maidened my Lil Banchee which went without a hitch, I'm liking it a lot

Mate put his Trex up quickly while there was no one about and had a servo failure Only model that came home bent

shame to hear about the t-rex... one got crashed at the field I was at on saturday...

They do look a little fragile next to my raptor 50..

I have to say - I do feel I done it properly by getting the raptor. It's nice and chunky

quite a spectacle - seeing it flying - that noise, the size of it - WOW... it's great

It's all fixable, £20 should see it in air again apart from the fact he's gonna change the 3 servos I think, which will push the cost nearer £65

Think the most annoying thing was the fact that it wasn't pilot error
