Shogun V2 Heli Brushed Motor

Should this electric heli have a brushed motor ?
And why O why does the motor only last about two flights???
Been back to the shop about six times motor keeps burning out shop keeper said its my fault
Anyone got the same problems ?
Anyone in the Know about Brushed motors in electric helicopters ?

If anything, you've got a dodgy ESC or a dodgy motor - I can't possibly see how it can be your fault - as long as it's wired up correctly?

If you are burning out motors as regularly as that, and I assume each time you replace a motor you do so using the original ESC, then my guess would be a faulty ESC.

Any sort of motor in an electric heli, brushed or otherwise, should last allot longer than 2 flights, so there is definitely a fault there somewhere, which if you bought the complete model and have connected and wired it all up correctly, there is no way this is your fault.

I would take the complete model back to the shop and ask them to sort it out for you, as is there responsibility to do so.

I have a shogun and it came with the robbe? brushed motor, 6 flights (well trying to hover!) later it was burned out - same with the second one but got a few more flights. I bought the blue brushless motor with heatsink on it and its still working. I did have to buy a brushless esc (jeti).
