  • need help guys!

    HI guys,

i need your help! i was thinking about buying a Walkera 52# 3d 6ch micro heli,
it looks pretty perffect for what i want.....
im new to rc heli's but im a very fast learner, ive already got a Walkera dragonfly 4# 4ch and it is ok i can now fly but its abit big for the house, but great fun outside and you can never have too many heli's so i was thinking about getting the walkera dragonfly 52# because its very small and cheap to buy and fix and is ment to be one of the best heli's walkera have made! plus it can do 3d flying.

What do you guys think of the heli? ive seen 1 good video of it flying out side it looked petty good to me but didnt see 3d flying....

let me know what you guys think your help would help me alot....
    THANKS GUYS........

have fun flying i know i will be!

hi mate,, like what? i cant spend no more then £100 and i want a heli thats perffect for the house and outdoors..

this little heli is ment to be very well made plus it has 3d movement..
ive not seen a heli like tis for that low price..

I took my Dragonfly 4 in the garden yesterday there was abit of wind but it was ok, i straped on the crash training kit and was flying for about 10 minutes before the wind got too bad but dam it was fun!
i made a wind sock the other day so now assoon as its not windy i got straight out..lol.. roll on tommorrow!

there is no micro heli that will be stable enough to fly in a large living room AND be take even the smallest amount of wind you get outdoors.

the twister bell 47 is good and only a small amount outside your budget.

also there is a new one that amerang bring in called the easycopter. I had a fly of one in mr models the other day and its excellent. shows some nice improvements over the similarly priced micros.

        http://www.amerang-group.com/product...id=2172&menu=1

however these are both strictly indoor only. To go outdoors your gong to need to spend a lot more than 100ukp

You are a little anti small electrics Ade, I learnt to hover in my living room on a micro heli, well a trex and I even managed to fly my Honey Bee briefly too.

I do reckon if you have a tight budget then a twin rota thingy of a fixed pitch is a better choice - even better is a SIM.

Forget the 3d bit, you aint gonna be 3ding for a while and certainly not in your front room for a very long time

your living room isnt the average living room tho its more of a barn with a TV and sofa in it :-)

i dont realy want a twin rotor heli because they are too easy to fly!
ive also got a sim and im glad to say it has helped me alot plus i get to fly all kinds of rc models... CLASS!

the reason i was going to but the dragonfly 52 is because its only about
350mm long with about 330mm blades this is easerly the smallest 6ch heli on the market and is a new design from walkera....

ive seen videos of it flying in doors and outside and it was flying great! doing rolls and flips...

but i also here what your saying thomas im not going to be doing 3d stuff for a while yet...

ill think i will just keep on looking at heli's for abit there is no real rush on buying my new heli but you guys know how it is, ive got the bug now and just want to buy more and more heli's,lol

Sounds like you are hooked, if I were you I'd save up and get a proper heli and join a club, much easier said than done but well worth while.

All I'll say is go look at a local Club and see the Helis they fly or an indoor meet and again see what they fly.

Go for the Buy Once Buy Right attiude as well. Because if you do you won't need to buy another helicopter (although they do bred ask anyone here 1 becomes 2 and 2 become 3...)

If you buy right a Helicopter you can learn to fly it, and then learn to abuse it. Just buy the right one.
