Gents.
Cutting a long story very short here guys.
As some of you may know I do most of my flying in Stainburn up at Tims place and I have and always will consider him a good friend.
But, please don't read this post as biased in any way.
I recently got back into the hobby after sacking it off for a year.
The lay off was due to Many things, but mainly due to personal problems, lack of time and interest, hitting a brick wall with my flying, and nerves.
Basically I'm right where I want to be right now.
Got a couple of great machines-which both came from Tims swollen fleet
And Tim being the great bloke he is, stopped short of nothing in ensuring both helis were perfect and up to his usual high standards. Well the 700 actually came in pieces after he decided to trim his fleet and break it up but he gave ne brand new replacement items to cover any suspect items and even threw in a brand new Align 91H engine to get ne in the air sooner (To be paid for at the end of the month
)
We're all aware of Tims frankly legendary hospitality and generosity I'm sure, But the guy has displayed good will, trust, and efforts above and beyond the call of duty in helping to restore my love and enthusiasm for the game and i'm eternally grateful for that.
I have to mention also that he will open up his field to any of the invited with usually little notice, and even if he's done enough flying for the day himself he'll happily stay until last man standing or until the sun goes down.. Whichever comes first..In ensuring everyone leaves happy and devoid of the fuel they turned up with
And of course when we have the inevitable coming together with mother earth he's off like a shot to raid his Spares boxes and stops flying to muck in with the stripdown and rebuild to get you back in the air again soon as.
Not much more I can say really, only that those who've met or dealt with Tim in any way shape or form will know exactly what I'm on about.
I certainly wouldn't be where I am now or enjoying it as much without this bloke.
May our skies be blue, and our rainbows be low mate
Long may it continue
