Went out today and had a real mixed bag.

I finished the Titan 50 after putting a new clutch, set it up only for the belt to come off the left pulley AGAIN. I thought I had solved this with new bearings in the Quick UK pulleys, as the bearing had moved on one of these. so back in the van with that one.

Got my 500 out and just did a few gentle circuits, when I came past me I noticed the satellite receiver flashing, I landed, Rebound the radio and it went solid again. turned everything off and reconnected, flashing again.
it is an AR9000 with one additional receiver, anybody got any ideas. that was another one back in the van.

Flew the Mini Titan, no real dramas there

Flew the 600NSP and I am slowly getting there, few loops and rolls today, and I thought I would have another try at inverted hover. I was fairly high up, and held it there for a short while then completely lost where it was, All I can picture was pride and joy hurtling towards the ground, Idle up, and not to sure about the orientation.

Back stick, yep thats the right way and a big hand full of collective and somehow I managed to miss the ground by about two feet.

Thought is best to land, and go home.

Yeah this happens to me and my spektrum receivers regularly. The best thing to do is, turn off your heli and then your TX, then turn on your TX and then the heli. This normally stops that annoying flashy business. But I have also just flown with it flashing, and nothing ever came of it, I wouldn't recommend doing this though. If you smash due to this I would feel such a pratt.....LOL. Yeah just reboot the tx and heli and that should fix it, it always has for me.

If you switch the heli off and back on again without cycling power to the tx it will flash as this is indicating there has been a loss of connection. if its solid when you take off and flashing when you land then you have something wrong with the power system on the heli and it needs looking at sooner rather than later.

The flashing led shows a low power spike, should be resolved by using a fully charged battery. It is showing that the quick connect feature has activated, which reconnects the signal when there is a low power spike.

If oyu swith RX on and off without cycling the tx then you get the flashing LEDS on both rxs.
I have not worked out what would make the sat rx flash but not the main rx.
I have had this from a static problem on the 450. It didn't cause any issues but after earthing the frame boom and motor mount to the battery neg it doesn't happen any more.

I fly all the time with my rx flashing and has never caused a problem. It happens because when I first plug the heli in it's solid but the gyro doesn't centre so I have to unplug and plug back in before it centres but as a consequence the rx flashes

,,nice save Spunkmyer, in the middle of rebuilding the Gaui again after getting too cocky with her, all the bloody setting up to do after the build,,,mind you, I pulled some new moves, so it wasn't all in vain

Just swapped the satellite receiver with another model and is now fine on the 500, but the problem has transfered to the other model, A little package to horizon hobby me thinks.
