Well after not been able to fly for about a month due to being ill, I finally got my sorry ass out today to have a play. Took out my 600NSP and my MD-530 scale out as that especially has not been flown for a while.
Fired up the MD530 first as that is just so docile in the air and thought it woul be nice to have a pootle around on that first. It looks nice in the air but it gets a bit boring after a few flights so put her aside and started up the 600.
Now through shear boredom of been ill, I decided I needed to add more upgrades to it and bought a Quick UK swash. Also added some K & B yellow dampners and oh my god - this thing flies so well now. It actually flies in a straight line lol. Well happy. So after a couple of mellow flights I flicked her up into idle 2 and thought lets have some fun and do some flips etc. Got her nice and high and pulled back the elevator and watched my baby do a slow motion flip (I forgot to whack up the cyclics in the swash mix after setting up my new swash). Just about got her back to the right way up, landed and sorted that issue out. She now flips without shooting of in various directions. Climbouts are straight now too so well chuffed. That new swashplate has made the world of difference over the one that comes with the 600NSP.
So all in all it's been a top morning and glad I got my mojo back after been out for a while. On the left is my 'pootling' bird and to the right is my 'spank me baby' bird
