Hi all i have a mate who's grandson is getting into heli's, At the moment he has a really cheap made in hong kong one, I have managed to fix it for him a couple of times but with no spares available i am struggling to keep it in the air. What i need to know is there such a thing as a good fixed pitch helicopter that you can get spares for, and fly's reasonable well. Del.
if your after a fixed pitch heli i would suggest the esky honey bee, it can be bought from www.buzzflyer.co.uk another option if you wanted something a little smaller would be a walkera 4#3 also know as a buzzfly also available from the above website i'm contemplating selling my walkera 4#3 if your interested it comes boxed with a set of spare blades, probably looking for £50 posted
I learned how to fly on this heli back in the days.
I think you get 10% off spares if you buy a heli from them! Not sure on that though. Plus customer service is second to none and they deliver fast. I ordered some spare parts one time and it arrived in less than 24 hours!
