  • Yeah - good day!

At long last I managed to get the Trex in the air today after all the winds we've been having, and did my first inverted hover
OK. it was only for a couple of seconds and at about 70' , but it's a start. Had to land to stop shaking

Got better as I relaxed - loops, rolls, stall turns, pirouetting stall turns and a little inverted at speed. Three batteries and I even brought it home in one piece

It's been a while since I felt that yeeee haaaa moment

            Thanks guys

What also made today really good was I had yesterday's blood results from the hospital and they're down abit. (You may recall I've been having some rejection issues with my kidney, and my bloods were up again last week which put our planned foreign bike trip in jeopardy. Well, although I have still developed some donor-specific antibodies and hence some rejection, it seems to be reasonably stable, so we should be able to go off after all - for 25 days: can't wait)

So all-in-all a very good day

...and therein lies the problem - they should be coming on fast

Seriously, go in fast - it gives you more time to get the tail round at the top and to start the pull out - before the ground intervenes
