Sea life centre worth a visit, Kessock models is also in weymouth, Mike freeman aka guttoetige on here also owns a t-shirt printing shop down there and can do loads on heli related t-shirts, polo tops fleeses etc etc.
Also 45 mins up the road in Yeovil is the hobby hangar.
As for clubs, kessock models will know, give them a bell

Due to issues with Weymouth heli club field, there is only electric models allowed on that site.

Try Mike on PM or speak to Mark in Kessocks as there is flying on a private site just outside Weymouth on Sundays.

Hope the weather improves for your stay and pray the wind drops!

Abbotsbury tropical gardens and swannery are good places to visit and check out the stunning views of chesil beach and lyme bay from either the top of Portland or the top of abbotsbury hill, take a camera with you.

There are a couple of areas around town to fly a 450 as well.

Monkey World, which is pretty near the Tank Museum.

                            Seems appropriate

Why does it always persist down at weekends ?

Goldfingers lap dance club Never been myself....
Unfortunately flying site is gone but if you want a nice spot to fly electric head along the seafront and near the sealife centre is a turn off for the local dump and beach carpark, pull in there and head for the back left hand corner, you will find a closed off grass area about the size of a football pitch.. Less chance of being disturbed... Kessock and myself will be at Park hall this weekend.
