    Hi all,

took my 600 out for a fly today for the first time in over a year and the first time on 2.4ghz since i converted it, range check complete no problems, starts her up and away she goes bit off vibration which ive had from day 1 really never ever been crashed only had about 10 fligts approx with it really, increased the headspeed a fraction in case it was low head speed,
second flight with new fuel sorted out running a bit rich some fine adjusments on the top needle and away she went, all off a sudden it it went into safe mode from about 6 foot lucky really i was flying it about and down she went and landed in a hump no damage so far need to strip it down to find out why it went into safe mode loss of comms caused by vibration is my first impressions on retrieving the model it was switched off but the switch was on quick fiddle and it come back on and the rx had a very fast flashing led on it!! any thoughts apart from this?

    second item

not to loose heart i had my 450 with me and what flights i had with it possibly the best days flying ever, inspiration from recent videos i reckon and thinking sod if it crashes it crashes, done my first ever loop without the ground jumping up and making it crash and kept on doing them as well, it even run out of battery at one point as well just took it out of idle 1 to land when it told low battery with its warning and landed in the onion field again with no damage at all it landed on the onion stalks and didnt even hit the floor how lucky was i.......

    overall im a happy bunny

not to happy with the 600 as it has some serious issues which need investinging on a strip down
If You Cant Dazzle' Em With Brilliance, Baffle' Em With emmmm you know the rest

Not a bad result then, no damage and a good session with the 450

Could have been worse, could have smashed up the 600.

If you have a satellite on your Rx, check it's connected OK, also check the cable, particularly the blank wire !

Why does it always persist down at weekends ?

check all the power connections, and maybe fly it again without the switch, but just the battery plugged in directly?
I do beleive the fast flashing LED means the rx lost power while the tx remained on.
This you can reproduce by switching it all on and cycling the rx power with the tx on.
I think flashing on both rx parts means something different to flashing on just the remote rx...

I thought flashing rx light was result of a brown out, do you have carbon or fibre glass frames by any chance?
            Nik.

            Before you ask:

            About 2 miles
            Over £500
            Very difficult
            Over 80mph
NO, you can't have a go
