  • hello from newbie

hi everyone just joined rcha and im very happy to be here.my names lee,i
started flying the clearview flight sim about a year ago.since then i brought venoms ocean rescue rtf just to get the feel for it.i was hooked to say the least.so after a 2 months i was doing fig 8s,circles nothing spectacular but for a complete beginner i was very happy.

i now have the honeybee fixed pitch which is so more responsive, nothing wat i was used to,but it was just a new challenge for me. anyway after some sim work and as many hours as my batteries would allow im now hovering fairly steadly in my summer house which is 10x10 and so im told and wat i've read fp are the hardest to learn on.

i've just brought my first cp the blade 400 3d for when i advance to the next level....CANT WAIT....
so thats me, looking forward to using all the advice hints and tips and generaly being part of the community.look foward to chatting in the future...kind regards lee.............................
    cheers beanz

i can't recomend any and i am interested in any answers you get, i went with a friend to look at the one down ashburton, seemed a small and friendly club with a few knowledgable guys. they also have a nice flying area. the other club i am looking at fly on woodbury common a lot closer to me but the flying area is not as good imo. waiting for a good day and a day off to go there and have a look and chat with them. i know from talking to some people the woodbury club you have to have 2 members on site before your aloud to fly andhave to be able to hoover(they did say pass some certificate but can't remember what that was) before you can fly solo
if any others turn up in this thread then i will have a look at them to
