  • EGS Nomination

I'm scaling my blade (usual Airwolf route, sorry) after having given up learning to 3d due to costly repairs and not being able to perfect the chaos (no fun when you only get halfway) I was stuck for advice on paint for the fuselage when it arrives, how to get around certain problems and trying to get certain bits of circuitry to make the problems work and effectively get blood from a stone, many people gave me input and I thankyou but for me SimplyRaptor stood out, not only did Martin give me advice but he also took the time to put it into noob terms as its my first scale build with regards to prep and paint and then offered to send me a servo tester for which I am very grateful, he even turned down my offer to pay for it!!
So for taking the time to help others and for helping me with my own problems I would like to nominate Martin for an EGS.
    Nik.

    Before you ask:

    About 2 miles
    Over £500
    Very difficult
    Over 80mph
NO, you can't have a go

Don't forget the 'Search' and 'Thanks' buttons.

    RIP Anthony 'Tinny' Lombardi (25195517)

somewhat OT, but maybe you shouldn't give up that easily
Few people make it to chaos.
Maybe take a break for a couple of weeks and then fire up the sim and approach it with a fresh mind.
I don't know the whole story, but there's a lot more to 3D than only chaos. You can do a lot of 3D practise without taking any risks

I like the other moves too IRL I only roll, loop, flip, tic toc -elev and ail- and hover inverted but on the sim I can do pie dishes, half and half etc but it was always the chaos that amazed me, I learned to do it somewhat lol, I can do it at a good pace but when I try go fast to make it look good I get inverted and then lose it and have to fly out of it inverted to recover but saying that I havent been on the sim in a couple of weeks due to frustration so maybe the break will have done me good.
