    Our days flying

    Had a good day today.

    Weather started out nice and got a tiny breeze on as the day went on

    I got to maiden the 700e,Nudenut maidened his Outrage as flybarless and everyone in general had a good day,OH except Jiberjaber unfortunatly who today found out the a 700n is no good inverted in normal mode

    But other than that a good day,got to meet Carpman and Chugga bug who I must say his flying is awesome and a real pleasure to watch.Hope you guys want to join and keep coming back.

    Cant wait till next week to really get used to the 700e.

    Big thanks to Neil (Rambo) for helping me set up the 700e today to get her in the air for its maiden and also for doing the 700n's engine for me during the week and picking my packs up also

        Yes it was a good day until I decided to warm up the engine with some gentle piros in normal mode. I should have switched to idle up before going inverted at head height, I blame the loss of the head button myself LOL

        Blades, boom, boom supports, canopy, main shaft bearings and a little bracket on the tail. I couldnt tell if the main and feathering are bent or not so I got a couple of them too.

        Repair bill at 240 - new canopy, blades (710SB) and a couple of little bits and bobs included in that though.

        Did Chugga turn up after I left?

            Thanks for the compliments on my flying Ben But don't big me up too much, I ain't that good Lol!
            Shame I got there a bit late, but at least I got a couple of flights in. I was shaking like a leaf on the first one Lol! Haven't flown anything for about 3 weeks so the nerves were kicking in big time

            Bad luck on the crash Jason (shame I missed it!) Hope it's sorted soon.
            Luck wasn't on Dan's (carpman) side today either. Managed to strip all 3 cyclic gears on his 600nsp without even starting in up!! I think the washout had slipped off the pins when he'd switched on. Still surprised they all went!

            Hopefully I'll make it over another time soon if it's ok.

                    our days flying

                    it was great fun today good bunch of like minded blokes only thing missing at the end of the day was a group hug from you all (not) glad i quit when i did as my first unintended roll and filling of underwear was all the excitement i could take. i do have some great video footage of tony's 450 cutting the grass and savage tail spin's i will attempt to post it if not i will put onto disc for someone with more brains to post. all together an excellent day thanks to all.

                      I wish it was easier for me to get over there.
