Sounds good, Mike. how's the 500? are you enjoying it? I've got mine calmed down to my level now, 70% D/R on elev & ail, and the softer grey dampers in, and as you know, the 440mm flybar. Nice and stable!

No duel rates for me.. idle 1 95% idle 2 100% exp on cyclics at 20% with SAB 430mm blades and the black dampners with the tube fitted in the head

Ade Law once said to me, set it up once so as you progress and get used to the headspeed you won't need to change the setup.. and he's quite correct there.. sure it's a daunting job just standing there with it going ballistic on headspeed.. but as your confidence grows it seems quite normal now.. even slow sometimes.. Im using the 400mm flybar with carbon paddles on cyclics,.. pitch at 60% aer and elev at 55% but will up these when I have more flights on the heli

I have found it best to have all your rate switches set at 100% but with just 50% on the swash,as you progress,add 5% each time till you get to your desired level each time you progress.Mine are 50 aile 50 elev and 75 on the pitch...im nearly ready to go 55
