When does everybody else use the thanks button?

If I have a problem then I am very thankfull to anybody that posts a suggestion, is it overkill to then thank every reply or is that OK?

If I dont click Thanks then I am worried that the member who wrote the suggestion may think I was not greatfull!

Good thread Mark.....you click when you want mate.....

Sadly, there's to many forum members who don't use this button......

Me personally, I use it to thank members for help, gratitude and if their comments deserve it.........I also think it's polite and recognises their efforts...
    Cheers Eddie

I agree with the sentiments above, it is nice to acknowledge a helpful, usefull or informative post, or one that makes a positive contribution to the RCHA community. It helps to make poster feel that the effort of posting experiences that may be usefull to others; hints and tips and straight out answers to others problems, is a worthwhile use of their time and effort.

Maybe we should also have a "Shut Up You Plonka" button as well? Mine would be heavily over-subscribed I'm sure!

Could then have a bit along the bottom of the post that says "The following 5 users have said, 'Shut Up You Plonka' to this useless poster."

Another vote here for a "The following users said 'Shut Up You Plonker!'" Button.

On a scale of 0 to 3D, about 1.53 and counting (backwards at the moment...). Getting there though, 0.1D at a time!
