Contacting seller on BMFA Classifieds

In the past I have been able to contact sellers or wanters on the classifieds site by clicking on "Contact seller" next to email used to bring up a web form.

Now it brings up a form asking me to log-in. But I can't log-in as I am not registered and I cannot register until the 25th July.

This makes it a closed shop to only those that are members of the BMFA or SAA.

Any ideas on how to get round this?

Everyone has to re-register (again) due to the recent attack on the server, I believe.

Just re-register tomorrow and away you go.

Bit puzzled by this one. In the past I have also been able to cantact sellers, and buy stuff without having to register. Just tried it now, and that has changed.
The site was recently the subject of a hacker attack, which brought it down for a while.
I wonder if they are tightening up to try to prevent this happening again.
I do not know if you have to be a BMFA member to register, but, if not, no biggie.
Just reregister.

Oops.
Just tried to register with BMFA. says registration is closed till tomorrow, no biggie.
Also says registration will be open to all BMFA members. Don't know if this means ONLY open to members, but fear so.
Don't want to spend money only to look at classifieds.

But whats peed me off is i have put something for sale on there and it shows my email address so any one seen it.

So on that account it means its that the person that puts the add on has requested that hes email is not to be shown

Nope change that there is no where to change this setting, so its hot or miss whos email you can see

Once logged in go to Change Info and there is a check box to hide your email address.

Ah, I see... I didn't realise that.
I had an email from the BMFA yesterday (I think) talking about the recent issues and that everyone will have to reregister again (from tomorrow).

That's about all I know on the matter I'm afraid

A person from the BMFA has e-mailed to say that they are trying to stop the "Nigerian" style scammers. At present they are considering what to do. But the decision will be made before the re-registration process begins.

It is not a problem having to register and I don't mind. It is this inconvenience caused be some so and so who should use his talent more productively.
