I left the hobby 3 years ago and discovered Women.
I wish I never left. -
I had one of them from parcelforce and i made some calls to them and they explained that the parcel was paid to be delievered to the uk NOT to the address within the uk, so when it turned up in the uk then the cheapest company will pick it up and do the rest of the delievery but will charge the receiver as they dont get any money from the company that sent it to the uk.
So that fee is just there fee for picking it up from the airport and deliever it to youProud member of the Mk Heli Club

Yup agreed with Rob.
I've just been caught for the first time with a parcel from HK. To be fair the vat and duty I am happy to pay, it's just the parcelforce bit that annoys me. But even with this on top I'm still quids in after two years worth of packages.Comment

I've also just recieved some gear from HK & yes I got stung on the VAT.
Like most I don't mind paying the VAT but the charges that parcelforce charge in outrageous,at least customs didn't suss the true value of the goods
