  • Shrink Wrap

I have an ElyQ regulator that suffered a very broken case in a crash. I'm waiting on a replacement coming in to Midland Helis as neither they nor Fast-Lad have any. The only thing stopping me flying this weekend is not having a case for my regulator... andylinney has suggested that I shrink wrap it instead. Has anyone tried that with this regulator? The Heat Sink at the bottom is insulated from the main regulator chips by a silkscreen which would obviously have to remain.

    Cheers

Heatshrink wouldn't be a problem as its non conducting, just be careful not to overheat any components, during the heating process.

    Do you have suitable heatshrink?
