Managed some flying this eve

With all the crap weather we have been having of late it was nice to be able to get for a couple of hours with Mark L.
Was great and got some real good B test practice in that was needed.
Did in the fading light re etempted a K1.5 auto, haven't tried one for months and as i have been doing really nice controlled autos last weekend went for it and was amazed, first was fine but about 15 metres away from me, but on the second attemp got it dead in front of me and perfect landing, what a rush.
Also like to say a big congrates to Mark for his first sideways tick-tocks, well done mate

I got out this eve too, the weather looked like it was going to rain but it was very calm. was a first for me to give my pro a really good thrashing with high speed forward and backwards 8s. normally im very cautious and my hearts pounding away but today I thought sod it, it was great fun flinging it around the sky. next step is a go at inverted again

Wicked little session mate!!!

One of those last minute events that was just loads of fun because.... well it was last minute and we were really keen to get out!!

I think we both flew some of the best tanks this year. The "B" test practice you were doing became infectious and i really enjoyed flying the 600 in some of the required sets. Just as fun as 3D... i had just forgotten, as we do sometimes, to practice controlled disciplined flying. After all thats what makes a competent and rounded pilot.

Back to the funky moves though and your rolled auto was cooooool!! definately something to be proud of!

Not to be beaten with the new moves thing i thought it only right i try the side ways tick tocks.... bit messy but felt great to pull off for the first time. Now i have broken that barrier i can work on cleaning them up and adding them to my routine.

All in all a good couple of hours dodging the rain and smiles all round... happy days!

Nice when you get an evening session in unexpectedly. I got one in last night, field was deserted apart form me and my mate, because the wind had been blowing all day and ot threatened rain, well by the time we got there the wind had dropped and it was sunny, fantastic evening.

well done on the sideway tictocs, cant get the timing right yet myself.
