I have never used expo, even in the early years, more due to the fact i didn't really understand it, did try to dial it in once on a model and didn't like it so took it back out again

I have a little Expo (about 10% I think) and 15% Dual Rates on Aileron/Elevator set on one of my IdleUp 1 as an experiment on my Aurora - this is so that I can flick between fast response times (IdleUp 2) for harder 3D stuff, and calmer settings (IdleUp1) for smoother stuff. Headspeed is controlled off my Aux 2 switch so I can have faster or slower headspeeds in either flight mode.

Not sure I like it 100% yet, but maybe... I dunno

I never used to use either - but I think there's a place for it, and personal preference for response and feel comes into play here too.

Interesting.. i may knock mine completely off to try with, Dont think ive ever flown without expo, so should be interesting to see how it feels,.

Yes I use expo, around 25% seems to be about right for me. I'm certainly no Stevie G but when I started to look at the servos as mechanical links,it seems that expo is needed just to keep the movement as near to linear as possible. Without expo in the box the servo will behave like it's got negative expo.
I'm sure others will say different but it's mainly down to individual preferences and unfortunately beginners tend to look on expo as the sissy option and that is not true. It can be used to tame the cyclics but it is there to tune the response and as such should be regarded as a tool. You can bet that the F3C boys make full use of it!

            Yeah,

To be honest, the reason why i use expo is to add smoothness to the cyclic movements, where as i get the feeling if i was to turn of expo it would be juttery and wouldent look that smooth, as i say, ive knocked it down to 10% and see how i like it tomrmow, and then knock it completely off see what i prefer,

some use expo on the pitch so you don't need to be exactly at mid stick for zero deg pitch (don't ask me how they get expo on the pitch as i haven't a clue)
i don't know what they use on the other channels
me i've only ever used expo on a 3 blade head to calm it down
and a vintage heli to liven it up

don't forget jr and futaba the expo is opposite so the poll my not give the correct answer your looking for

I have bout 35% lol, I like mine really dull round the center so I can do really smooth movements without over sticking it and makes the flying look generally a lot better but at extremes can still stop nice and crisp

I fly the rex700 and have the JR 8717 servos with about 8% expo on ele and ail. Saying that, I have been reducing it wk on wk and it started at around 20% on each. I used to prefer it duller around the centre but find with less expo I feel more in control of the snappier, punchier stops and fast forward flips etc. Each to their own and whatever works I guess, but not as important to me as it used to be.

                      both use no expo
