  • Midland Helcopters Fuel Selection

    Heya All,

On Saturday i am going to Midlands to pick up some fuel but i notice they only sell Coolpower and some "Try at your own risk" Century Fuel lol,

And i was wondering if they would stock anything diffrent in the actual shop?

    Regards
    Callum

Why would you want anything else?

Cool Power might not give you the most bang for your buck in terms of performance, but it will look after your engine like no other fuel.

Exit, stage left - runs for cover in the ensuing debate about fuels!

I'd Rather use Rapicon Where possible :P

But since Midlands dont stock em, looks like Coolpower it is

I've used Coolpower for a long time and have always been please with the results, not to say I wouldn't try Optifuel too but to some extent I don't like to change something that works. Mind you none of the top fuels are likely to give you bad running, after all they wouldn't be top fuels otherwise.

        Cheers

so if they only have coolpower and some stuff they are basically telling you not to use, it aint much of a selection

Whilst CoolPower is a good fuel, it is very over priced

Why does it always persist down at weekends ?

I agree with Biggles - we spend thousands on our models, another couple of quid per gallon over the year is small beans really. Admittedly the gap is wider than I've seen it in a long time right now, but it's still within the realms of not excessive for those not burning a case each weekend.
