quote from another forum from one of CYE emloyees-
Curtis no longer flys for JR heli division. JRPROPO is the radio division of JR, not the heli division. Yes it will be a nitro model with an electric conversion available at the time of release. It might not happen 100% that way, but rest assured it will be nitro with an electric option. Likely a flybarless option as well.

Be interesting to see if it will be in JR pricing areas though, i have a feeling it might be.

I had a gut feeling this would be coming out now..
He didn't set up Next-D just to do one model.. and as soon word got out about his contract ending with JR Heli Division this was on the cards.
Ideal timing too.. US nationals, World Championships and then IRCHA all at the same site in the US for the next couple of months.. golden marketing opportunity!
Steve.. those are the FAI blades and they fly really nicely. However don't even think about putting them on anything with plastic grips.. they weigh a meaty 230g!
Definitely had to be coming especially since the last "all Curtis" JR design was probably the Vigor CS... The Next-D looks promising for sure, boy would I like one (along with a brace of Avros, a Vibe SG, a Freya Evo etc etc etc!)
Really does look a stunning piece of kit, just as the Rave 450 does. Again, I think price will control its popularity. Fingers crossed it ain`t the Vibe 90SG prices..... please no!
strange how he's gone from a 450 to a 90 class with nothing in between, i would have thought 500 and 600 class would be more demanding, then again maybe he feels they are already saturated, i would love a rave 500e.
