Stability for a video AP platform would be awesome and really smooth I guess - If they made contras of this size more readily available and cost effective I'd have one for that type of use.

from what i've seen this is peter wales machne and it will be going into a full scale contrarotating heli
yes the full size is contra
model heli world also have one in pod and boom, i've only seen it twice and it was the very early test flights by john tanner

Mentions that he bought the mechanics for the heli. Peter Wales, well known in the scale building arena.. and his builds are absolutely fantastic..
..and for those who are into their car tuning. A bit of trivia. Peter Wales was the founder, and is the president of 'Superchips'.
... No wonder he can afford to have a Bang & Olufson cd system in his heli Workshop

,,,sort of a CX 2000, if it wasn't so bloody expensive, it may be just the kit to do this Wren a bit of justice (heli is a preddy 90 thats been thrown together ,,,but it will get sorted,,,,watch this space
