  • Bloody Hell, Its Awesome!

    Heya All,

Just got back from the field, and wow... it flies immeasurably thats all i can say lol,

Took off, got it into a low hover.. was really rich and the field was coverd in smoke lol. but wanted it to be rich on its first flight anyway

    So landed.. had a breather

    Took off again..

and wow.. head height and it flies bloody awesome blades are razor sharp in track ect and did some slow circuits it was perfect.

got into a hover 1 click adjust the left took my hands off the tx and it hoverd there for around 10 seconds before it needed adjusting my jaw dropped lmao!

Did some pitch pumping and wooooooow, its bleeding fast, up down up down up down with no hesitation!

Did some very small slow piro circuits and the gyro kicks ass! holds rock solid

took it above head height and pulled the throttle hold, and it kinda zooomed down, not the glide feeling im used to with the Raptor, and as Rob Turner said, it doesnt have a whole lot of headspeed left, just enough for a very quick hover, and thats it. but then again i didnt have any forward motion so until i do a big proper one..

I accidently moved the main carb needle the wrong way and forgot which way i moved it serveral times, so ile have to adjust it when i get some more fuel!

But yes... this heli KICKS ASS! Cannot wait to thrash it around.

and big thanks for moonmanflyer! for helping me out and agreeing to sell it to me!

Think that's about it.. Shall have to wait a while, as my wallet is very very tight on money, so fuel will have to wait! but i seriously cannot wait!

    Regards
    Callum

its like a dream to fly!

Not like any of the slowness of the Raptor at all!

Especially when you push on the stick and it instantly smoothy responds..

It goes where you want it to go, smoooth hover.. sits there hands off controls for around 5 - 10 seconds, with a slight correction then another 5-10 seconds!

            its beautiful!

                Thanks James,

Reall do like her as a matter of fact she's sitting on my bed lmao :P Tho, may need to find some muffler bolt nuts that fit on the other side of the muffler, as i stripped the muffler bolt hole, so i had to stick the screw trough the othe way and place a nut on the other side (Comming out of engine) But it comes loose after a flight,

                any sugesstions?

not thats its much to worry about like..

ile also keep my eye on the 2in1 seemed fine on my flight though

Had that with my 600 so I got some longer bolts then used JB weld to form a gasket then used double nuts to lock the bolt tight, no probs since.

Get some AeroTight nuts - like nyloc nuts but all metal, so they're great for mufflers (hot!)

                    Cheers,

a quick fix would be to do the nut and bolt up tight, then add a second nut and tighten it down onto the first nut you fitted this should lock it up tight.

                      Edit
                      you boys are fast.

Are they small enough? as the nut grinds into the muffler so i cannot get a flush screw on if you know what i mean :P
