Another issue is the difficulty in persuading heli pilots to get involved with the BMFA!
You have nit the nail on the head there Peter, Heli fliers may be under represented, but that is the fault of heli fliers not getting involved

We both also sit on Full Council, and again, as far as I'm aware, we are the ONLY TWO helicopter "B" cert holders, even though Full Council has more members!

Again, I'm 59 going on 60, yet at most of these meetings I'm one of the younger members present!

      IT SHOULDN'T BE LIKE THIS!

This is meant to be a sport for Heaven's sake - a young persons activity. But until some of you get off your backsides and GET INVOLVED, the BMFA will continue to be dominated by old farts like me, and more importantly, dominated by plank pilots!
I speak as the youngest person at any of the meetings, and I have now just gone to the wrong side of 40!!

So, are "ordinary members" allowed to attend (or vote, or talk) at the AGM? What about "country members"? Last time I looked I could find nothing whatsoever about when/ where the AGM was held.

I mean, if I buy shares in a company I'd be able to go to the AGM; I'd expect the same at least from a "club".
