Model heli shops.

Does anyone know of any model heli shops near Southampton, please. The only one I can find is 'Mainly Trains and Planes' in Chandlers Ford. Are there any others?

There isn't very much in the way of heli shops in the part of the world. If you actually want to visit a shop you would have to go to Sussex Model Centre which is probably the nearest. Most of us order our spares etc via the internet.

Yes, that's where I got my CX2 from. Must admit, I was impressed with their service, but I just wondered if there was somewhere nearer.

What about instruction for new b's. Is there anything like that near here, or would a club be more beneficial?

There is one called hobby stores: Radio Control Cars Trucks Planes Helicopters and Boats
I think they are good for advise on planes and cars, but for helis i would join a club

Hobby hangar in Yeovil, a bit of a trek but they know there stuff, top uk pilots in there and really nice family run buisiness

Personally I would mail order from Fast Lad/Real Raptors/Midland/Revolution/Skyline... much better range of parts, models and really helpful to boot.
