I have used an SKB Golf case skb golf travel cases - hard sided for my 600 in the past. This was fitted out with cut foam to take the heli but did require the skids and main blades to be removed. There was enough room for some spares and flight/rx batteries.

I have a G Flight Systems case for my 500. This was built to order and carries the heli, Tx, batteries, spares, charger and power supply. As a result it's a big and heavy beast when full (20Kg) but has carried the heli to Oz and back with no damage. The quality is good and the case is a sturdy piece of kit that you can see will survive the baggage handlers for a good while.
